Public Safety Services

Escorts and Jumpstarts
Have you ever left your lights on during a rainy day... or found yourself studying late into the night??? Public Safety Officers will provide escorts and vehicle jumpstarts to the MCAD community. Both of these services will be offered on campus and within a two block radius of campus, 24 hours a day. To request one of these services dial "0" from and campus phone or 874-3700 from any off campus phone. Public Safety personnel encourage you to walk in groups, or if walking alone, call for an escort.


Campus Identification Card
Are you new to the college, or maybe you've lost your MCAD ID... You can get a new or replacement college ID produced while you wait. ID production is available Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.


Lost and Found
Have you misplaced something or maybe found something? The college Lost & Found is located with in the Department of Public Safety offices. All items reported to Lost & Found are recorded and cataloged.


Taxi Service Vouchers
MCAD students can obtain a taxi voucher normal business hours from Student Affairs office or from the Public Safety office outside of normal business hours. The taxi voucher is only worth up to $5.00 any charges above the $5.00 limit must be paid by the rider. The voucher is only valid after dark and is non-transferable. All voucher rides should commence at the MCAD Main building and the destination must be a private residence.


Wheelchair Use
Public Safety has a wheelchair for the use of persons with disabilities. The wheelchair can be requested at any time at the Public Safety office.


Finger Printing
Public Safety provides a free service of fingerprinting to the MCAD community. Please call in advance and make an appointment to has this service scheduled.
