There's Time for Sleep When You're Dead


As promised I will divulge the secrets of how to easily go what is now 25 hours without sleep and I'm aiming for 36 if I time managed correctly. If you want to find out what works and what lacks the early morning perk you've come to the right place.

I use Red Bull at work a lot which works OK, but it just forces your eyes to stay open you don't actually feel awake unless you drink obscene amounts.

Monster and Rock Star both have the same effects as Red Bull and you can pretty much assume anything else in a can does the same unless there's some new secret ingredient.

Good old fashioned coffee worked like a charm for me last night and today. Make it a little bit strong in a french press and you're set. Unfortunately it worked a little too well and I was forced to skip my planned 4 hour nap this morning though.

One thing that has always worked for me and as promised doesn't include a crash afterwards is that 5 Hour Energy Shot. They don't quite last 5 hours, its more like 3.5, but there is no crash unlike coffe after repeated use and normal energy drinks. Its main ingredients are something like 2,000% of your vitamin B6 and B12 so I guess you could consider this a more "natural" alternative to the traditional energy drinks.

HA, this is great. I agree on everything your saying, Energy drinks may boost you for a while., but that crash in the end is not worth the $3.25 you spend on the energy drink.

The hardest part is good sleep, you have this anxiety, you have work to do, caffeine in your blood, and ready to work. When you do try and sleep you can clear your head.

For me, I think an average of five hours a night has been working, I get more done after some sleep and a fresh pot of coffee in the morning. Then your starting somewhere refreshed and can get more done in the day.

WE WILL SURVIVE. and yes sleep when your dead, or in two weeks, whichever. Then in two weeks, we celebrate.
