MIMA Breakfast

For anyone interested in web content, you really should try to make it to this MIMA breakfast. I know you've seen the posters around and maybe even the email sent out, but I want to really drive it in that this will be a good opportunity to see whats going on out in the real world.

  • You can register here
  • Then register to go to the breakfast @ Event RSVP
  • Then meet us at 7AM on Wednesday 12th in the main gallery for
  • carpooling
Ryan pointed out that some people are having problems registering for the event after becoming a MIMA member. If you follow the above process you should be fine, but I'll copy Ryan's workaround just in case.

"This is the link we were using in class to work around registration problems.

If you are registered as a student, and the MIMA site keeps bringing you
to the "Purchase" page when you try to register for the November 12 DO NOT
give your credit card information.

Instead, manually go to this URL:
http://mima.org/events/register.asp?eventID=126

This is the "RSVP" page (which is what students, who attend free, are
supposed to use.) You may have to log in again when you get here, but you
should now be able sign up for the event with no charge.
If you return to this page, it will now show that you have RSVP'd and are
registered for the event."
